Standing in stillness for just a moment
We embrace the depth of darkness on this shortest day
We do so without fear as we are comforted by looking up at the miracles of moon and constellations.
How could we see such beauty in constant sunlight?
We feel grateful for all we learn about who we are
As the light returns, and with it, the warmth of hope.
