I do feel you are right about this being a vortex, they have a certain energy to them, and can often generated by births or deaths on a certain spot…

Some of the orbs are moisture in the air and insects but a few are spirit orbs in motion too. Sacrifice has created a vortex of energy here, a very ancient energy that's for sure. It certainly started with blood letting of some kind, it is unmistakable energy to me...

I feel it’s the sheer scale of the energy and its ebb and flow that caused the eye pattern on the pictures think of it almost like electromagnetic interference with the equipment, as the power waxes and wanes the effects come and go. It would be interesting to see if it ever happens again if you are in the area again with your camera.
