Kat says this about her pics:

"I have only known about orbs for about 5 months now. My first experience with them was when I was taking a picture of my daughter, I printed it out on my computer before I really looked closely at the image. When I looked at the printout I thought that I had accidentally gotten some water droplets on the paper so I turned to print out a new copy and that's when I noticed that the "spots" were also in the image on my screen.

In the second picture -there is a large diamond shaped orb!

It really surprised me and I started looking closer at the image and enlarging it trying to figure out what they were when suddenly it hit me that one of them had what appeared to be a face in it. I blinked and looked closer at the image, then I called my husband and my daughter over to take a closer look and confirm what I was seeing and that my eyes were not playing tricks on me.

They scared the daylights out of my husband, but my daughter was fascinated. She was dead sure that they were fairies (she's 14), but I figured that they were spirits of some kind. I promptly emailed the picture to some friends of mine asking what they thought of the image and that's when one of them told me about orbs. I have been hooked on taking pictures of them ever since and have been trying to collect pictures of them whenever I can.

I have gotten well over thirty photos of orbs since I discovered them, some of them are really faint and some are really bright. Some are large and some are small, and they range in shape from perfectly round to diamond shaped and a number of others in between. I am completely fascinated by them and would like to find out why there are different shaped ones, and why they seem to be drawn to people and places that are happy."
